Description	:	Irene Miller was born January 8, 1921, on a farm northwest of Milford, Nebraska to Joseph L. and Rosa (Stutzman) Roth, the oldest of eleven children and went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at her home near Milford, Nebraska at the age of 87 years, 3 months and 14 days. Read More	Irene Miller was born January 8, 1921, on a farm northwest of Milford, Nebraska to Joseph L. and Rosa (Stutzman) Roth, the oldest of eleven children and went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at her home near Milford, Nebraska at the age of 87 years, 3 months and 14 days. She attended Sunshine Country School near Milford. Irene accepted Christ as her personal Saviour at East Fairview Mennonite Church where she was an active and faithful member until her death. She was later united in marriage to Merle W. Miller on February 28, 1946 at Milford and to this union seven children were born. Merle and Irene also raised two nephews, Rick and Ron Roth, for 16 years. Irene had a servant's heart like the virtuous woman in Proverbs 31, opening their home with hospitality to many friends and family. She cared for many people in her life, including her mother, raising her brothers and sisters after her mother's death, and also took care of her sister, father, and mother-in-law in their last stages of life. Her life was one of sacrificial living and giving. She will be remembered and missed by many. Irene is survived by her children and spouses, Ruth & Jonathan Beachy, San Antonio, TX, Ervin & Rose Miller, Wilma Miller, Erma Miller, all of Milford, grandchildren and spouses, Lisa Beachy & Anthony Hartzler, San Antonio, TX, Marvin & Heidi Schmidt, Rosenort, Manitoba, Canada, Joel Beachy, Los Angeles, CA, Peter Beachy, Paraguay, S.A., Daniel & Rita Miller, Beaver Crossing, Nathan and Angie Miller, Milford, David and Rachel Miller, Milford, Galen, Twila, Marlese and Jonathan Miller, all of Milford; great-grandchildren, Carla, Bryan and Cecilia Schmidt, Rosenort, Manitoba, Canada, Lucy Hartzler-Beachy, San Antonio, TX, Aleah and Lashaunda Miller, Beaver Crossing, Rebecca Miller, Milford; brothers and sisters and spouses, Merle Roth, Omaha, Glen Roth, Milford, Melvin and Alice Roth, Coralville, IA, Edna Kempnich, Omaha, and Maxine Roth, Hastings. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph L. and Rosa Roth, husband, Merle in 2003, three infant children, one infant grandchild, three infant brothers, sister, Barbara, brothers, Sterling and Arthur. Services were Friday, April 25, 2008, at East Fairview Mennonite Church, Rural Milford, with Pastor William Saltzman and Pastor Anthony Troyer officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. Memorials may be directed in care of the family. Pallbearers were Jonathan Beachy, Daniel, Nathan, David, Galen and Jonathan Miller.
