Funeral services were held at 2:30 pm Monday at the Carson & Son Funeral Home with the Rev Clair Odell of the First United Methodist Church, Maquoketa, officiating. Visitation was from 1 pm until service time on Monday at the funeral home. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery, Delmar, Iowa. She was a licensed practical nurse & had owned & operated a custodial care home in Delmar for 8 years. She & her husband lived in Clinton, following their retirement. She is survived by 2 daughters, Darlene (& Bill) Benson of Thompsen, Illinois, & Mona (& Tom) Christoffersen of Camanche, 6 sons, Dale (& Honor), Bob (& Mary), Gerald (& Joann), & Ron (& Iva) all of Maquoketa, Don & Elmer (&Chris) both of Hazel Green, Wisconsin, a brother, Frank (&Gloria) Manning of Maquoketa, 35 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren & several great- great-grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her parents, husband, 4 brothers, 5 sisters & 3 grandchildren.
