Description	:	Irma Teresa Quaglia, 96, of St. Helena, passed away June 14, 2003. Born on March 26, 1907, in Osmate Lentate, Italy, to the late Vincenzo and Disola Ghiringhelli. She came to the United States with her parents and brother, Nate, in 1921, and she married Luigi Quaglia on July 31, 1926. They were married for 59 years, and they lived in Crockett until moving to St. Helena in 1941. He preceded her in death on September 29, 1985. Read More	Irma Teresa Quaglia, 96, of St. Helena, passed away June 14, 2003. Born on March 26, 1907, in Osmate Lentate, Italy, to the late Vincenzo and Disola Ghiringhelli. She came to the United States with her parents and brother, Nate, in 1921, and she married Luigi Quaglia on July 31, 1926. They were married for 59 years, and they lived in Crockett until moving to St. Helena in 1941. He preceded her in death on September 29, 1985. Irma was a member of the St. Helena Catholic Church and the Italian Catholic Federation. She was a homemaker and an avid gardener. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Irma is survived by many loved ones; her son, Raymond and his wife Doreen of St. Helena, four grandchildren; Debra Mills and her husband Tom of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Janet Keene and her husband Dennis of San Jose, Cindy of Sparks, NV, and Michael and his wife Isabel of Modesto. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; Andy, Jeff and John Mills, Kelly Keene, Karen Parodi and Danielle Garcia, Dominic, Aaron and Mason Quaglia, her brother Alvin Ghiringhelli and his wife Pat of Napa and nephews Curt and Vance Ghiringhelli. Her brother, Nate Ghiringelli, preceded her in death. Funeral mass services will be held at 3:00pm on Thursday, June 19 at the St. Helena Catholic Church, 1340 Tainter St., St. Helena with interment to follow in the Holy Cross Cemetary, 2121 Spring St., St. Helena. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00pm on Wednesday evening at Morrison Funeral Chapel, 990 Vintage Ave., St. Helena with a Rosary service held at 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the charity of your choice. Arrangements are being cared for by Morrison Funeral Chapel.
