Description	:	Irvil C. Brentlinger, 86, died 12:15 p.m. Wednesday in Latham Care Center, Bellefontaine. He formerly resided at 931 E. Elm, Lima. Born Dec. 29, 1884, in Buckland, he was the son of Andrew T. and Orrel Gerhard Brentlinger. He was married Feb. 1, 1916, to Sadie S. Miller, who survives with a daughter, Mrs. Jack (Thelma) Meier of here, and three great-grandchildren. Also surviving is an aunt Mrs. Charles (Lula) Miller of 1129 E. Market, Lima. Mr. Brentlinger was a life elder of the Central Church of Christ, Lima, and had been superintendent and teacher of the Christian Service Class of the church. He also was chairman of the founding group for Indian Lake Community Church here, and was chairman of the building committee of Christian Church in Sarasota, Fla., where he lived during winters for the past 25 years. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in the Indian Lake Community Church, Rev. Daniel Pike officiating. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Lima News August 19, 1971
