Description	:	Isaac Blauvelt the 3rd, s. of Isaac Blauvelt, Jr. (Isaac,2 Gerrit,1) and Geertje Blauvelt (Abram,4 Gerrit,3 Huybert,2 Gerrit,1), b. Nov. 8, 1760. He was bapt. Oct. 8, 1761 at the Tappan, NY Reformed Dutch Chh. and d. June 19, 1813 at New Prospect, now Hohokus, NJ. He is called "Junr" on his gravestone because his father d. only five years earlier and is interred at the same cemetery. On Aug. 16, 1788 at Clarkstown, NY, Isaac m. Sarah Johnson, dau. of Joseph Johnson and Cornelia Vandervoort, b. Feb. 6, 1772 at Hempstead, NY. They had the following six children: • i. Abraham... Joseph Isaac Blauvelt, b. Sept. 15 (bp. Oct. 2), 1796 at Paramus, NJ, d. unmarried May 18, 1830 at Ridgewood, NJ. • iv. Dr. Jacobus Isaac Blauvelt, known as James Isaac Blauvelt, bapt. May 24, 1800 at the Paramus, NJ Reformed Dutch Chh., living as a widower in June 1880 at the Village of Piermont at Orangetown, Rockland County, NY; m. 1) Sept. 26, 1824 at the Saddle River Lutheran Chh. at Bergen County, NJ, Hannah Zabriskie, dau. of Jacob Zabriskie and Antje Hopper, bapt. July 30, 1807 at the Paramus, NJ Reformed Dutch Chh. She d. May 3, 1842. Ten children of the family. Oct. 24 (bp Nov. 21), 1802 at Paramus, NJ, d. atfer 1855 prob. at Columbia County, NY; m. 1) Aug. 26, 1820 Pascack RDC at Saddle River Landing, NJ, Abraham Blanch, s. of Richard Blanch and Catherine Vervalen, b. Mar. 24, 1803 at Tappan, NY. He d. betw. July 5, 1828 and July 27, 1829. Three children of the marriage; m. 2) bef. 1842, Rev. Matthew Mallison, who d. July 1885 at Forman, North Dakota.
