Description	:	Isaac Davison, the son of Hardin and Harriett Thompson Davison was born March 7, 1866, in Page County, Iowa, and passed from this life April 2, 1929, at his home in Clarinda, Iowa. He was united in marriage to Elizabeth Hicks in 1887 in Page County, Iowa, who survives him. God blessed this home with ten children, eight of whom are living--two having preceded him to the Great Beyond--Marie in 1907 and Gertrude in 1919. Read More	Isaac Davison, the son of Hardin and Harriett Thompson Davison was born March 7, 1866, in Page County, Iowa, and passed from this life April 2, 1929, at his home in Clarinda, Iowa. He was united in marriage to Elizabeth Hicks in 1887 in Page County, Iowa, who survives him. God blessed this home with ten children, eight of whom are living--two having preceded him to the Great Beyond--Marie in 1907 and Gertrude in 1919. The living children are Pearl of Walden, Colo., Ruby, Rena and Burl who reside at home, Mrs Blanche Wilcox of Shenandoah, Iowa, Mrs Mabel Sowalter, Glenn and Olin Davison of Clarinda. There are ten living grandchildren and one passed away in infancy. These with his faithful companion are left to mourn his departure. Isaac Davison was one of a family of ten children--four sisters and five brothers--six of whom have preceded him to their heavenly home. The remaining sister, Mrs Eva Smith of Omaha, Nebr., Jackson Davison of Walden, Colo., and E.R. Davison of New Market, Iowa, will miss his brotherly love. He was a good man, a devoted husband and father, a kind brother, a good neighbor, scattering sunshine and kind words wherever he went. He was a member of the Modern Woodman of America at New Market. During his last illness which was borne with great patience, he confessed Christ as his Savior and was ready to go and dwell with Him who doeth all things well. Funeral service was held from the home Wednesday, April 24, at 3 pm with B.F. Hall of the Christian church in charge. Mr Becker of Shenandoah sang two solos with Mrs Hall accompanist.
