Mrs. Otis Oleson accompanied them at the piano. The remains were laid to rest in Woodland Cemetery. Isaac Morgan Orendorff was born on March 5, 1866, at Wheeling, West Virginia. He was the son of Benjamin and Amanda Crawford Orendorff. He passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Thursday, December 20, 1934, at the age of 65 years, 9 months and 15 days. When a small lad his parents took up a homestead in Saunders County. Later they moved to Boone County where he was married on December 1, 1885, to Adda Barber at Petersburg. They resided at Petersburg for a time then moved to North Bend where they have resided for several years. Preceding him in death were three daughters, Cora and Susan who died in infancy and Mrs. Irene Nelson who passed away Aug. 18/ 1927. Left to mourn his passing are the widow, four sons and four daughters. They are, George and Frank of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, Benjamin of Albion, Eldon of North Bend, Mrs. L. E. Anderson of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, Mrs. Etta Ried of Rock Rapids, Iowa, Mrs. Florence Jeffers, Fremont, and Mrs. Lewis Koch of North Bend. Twenty-five grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive. He also leaves one brother John Orendorff of Woodland, California and three sisters, Mrs. Emma Barnes, Loretta, Nebraska, Mrs. Mattie Crabtree, Grand Island, Nebraska, Mrs. Mary Dixson of North Bend, and numerous other relatives and friends. All of the children except Ben of Albion who is ill, and Frank of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, were in attendance at the funeral. Contributor: YluvsHistory
