Description	:	On Sunday afternoon, February 9, 1902, Mrs. Isabell Romig passed to her long rest, at the age of 73 years, 10 months, and 3 days. She died of apoplexy, failing gradually, since early in the fall. Her maiden name was Davidson. She was born in Preble County, Ohio, April 5, 1828 and came with her parents to St. Joseph County, Indiana, in early life. She was united in marriage to J. A. Romig December 28, 1856. Read More	On Sunday afternoon, February 9, 1902, Mrs. Isabell Romig passed to her long rest, at the age of 73 years, 10 months, and 3 days. She died of apoplexy, failing gradually, since early in the fall. Her maiden name was Davidson. She was born in Preble County, Ohio, April 5, 1828 and came with her parents to St. Joseph County, Indiana, in early life. She was united in marriage to J. A. Romig December 28, 1856. They lived near South Bend, Indiana for a number of years coming to Cass County, Iowa in May of 1868. Her husband died September 24, 1897; since then she has lived at the home place, where she was very tenderly cared for by her children, all of whom are still living. “Mother Romig” was of a sweet unassuming nature, always kind and helpful and had perfect trust in her Savior, whom she learned to know personally, about thirty years ago. The funeral services were held in the M. E. Church in Grant on Tuesday, February 11; Rev. Bolster of the Adventist Church in Villisca officiated, assisted by Rev. Rev. Bates of Grant.
