Description	:	Funeral services were held last Monday at the local Presbyterian church for Dora Amsden Flint, 69, with the Rev. John Kuyper officiating. Burial was in the Groton cemetery. Pall bearers were nephews, George Schoch, Marvin Amsden, Arnet Flint, Ronald Hubbard, Earl Blackmun and Gordon Flemmer. Mrs. Flint passed away February 29, 1956, at Long Beach, Calif., following major surgery. She had been in poor health for several months. Mrs. Flint passed away February 29, 1956, at Long Beach, Calif., following major surgery. She had been in poor health for several months. Isadore Amsden was born here in Brown County on Feb. 18, 1887. She was the fourth child of Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Amsden, early pioneers of Brown County. She lived her entire life in South Dakota except for a few winter spent in California. Before her marriage she taught in the rural schools near Ferney and Stratford. On June 22, 1910, she was united in marriage to Albert A. Flint. To this union were born three daughters, (Esther) Mrs. W. J. Schott, Compton, Calif., (Mildred) Mrs. L. L. Bacus, Riveton, Wyo., and (Thelma) Mrs. Harlan Radke, Groton. The deceased had been an active and faithful member of the Presbyterian church since 1921. She was preceded in death by her husband, who passed away just last September 18, 1955. The same six pall bearers served at her husband's funeral. Mrs. Flint will be remembered as a loving, devoted mother, friend and neighbor. Her high ideals in life gained for her many friends who will always remember her. Deep sympathy is extended to the family in their loss. She was preceded in death also by a brother and sister. Besides her three daughters, nine grandchildren, two sisters and four brothers mourn her loss. Relatives attending the last rites from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. W. J.
