Entombment will follow in Pinewood Memorial Park. Mrs. Rogers was born and raised in the Pactolus community. She was a member of the Greenville Church of God, where she helped clean the church and participated in the ladies ministries and Young at Heart. She worked as a spinner at Fieldcrest Mills for 37 years. Mrs. Rogers enjoyed sewing, growing flowers, listening to gospel music, and was a wonderful cook.... She loved being around her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Rogers was preceded in death by her husband, William Ira Rogers and a son, Larry Grey "Poncho" Rogers. She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Rogers Walton and husband, Wayne, of Kingsport, TN, Wanda Rogers Dunn of Ayden, and Becky Rogers and fiance, Nick Lean, of Fayetteville; sons, William Allen Rogers and wife, Brenda, of Winterville, and Michael Glenn Rogers and wife, Rebecca, of Greenville; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Louise Balafas of Ayden and Lillian O'Mary of Greenville; and brothers, Doug Langley, of Grimesland and Billy Langley, of Pactolus. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Greenville Church of God, 3105 S.
