Music was provided by a Quartet, Mrs. Keith Cutler, Mrs. Jesse Alberts, Rodney Barnes and Manley Green accompanied by Mrs. George Pierson. Mr. Sanderson was born Jan. 24, 1896 in Lodi, Wis. He was married to Jennie Huson on August 7, 1917 in Minneapolis. They lived in Sioux Falls and on a farm near Verdon prior to moving to the Claremont area in 1937. Survivors include his widow; three sons, Lloyd and Harold, both of Claremont and Harlow of Houghton; two daughters, Mrs. Orville (Fern) Nereim and Mrs. Winston (Olive) Feser, both of Claremont; 15 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; two brothers, Earl, Crandall and Allen, Groton; and one sister, Mrs. Grace Bahr, Norwalk, Calif. He was preceded in death by one brother. Active pall bearers were Don Hinrichs, Lincoln Gibbs, Emery Stohr, Charles Nietert, Willie Landwehr and Norman Peterson. Honorary pall bearers were John Niielert, Oscar Dombrowe, Sam Cuir, James Pavek, Cleo Sweeney, Theo. Nietert, Glen Parkin, Bert Sippel, Bert Gibbs and Art Vickers. Relatives attending the last rites from away included Dennis Clark of San Diego, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Woolery and Mrs. Olive Clark of Portland, Ore.; Mrs. Edna Smith and Sonny Freckle o Hardin, Mont.; Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Sanderson, Madison, Minn.; and a large number of relatives from the Crandal and Groton area. ------------------------------------ Funeral services for Ivan Sanderson, Claremont, will be held Thursday, April 28, at 2 p. m., in the Methodist Church in Claremont with the Rev. Brown officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens near Aberdeen. Mr. Sanderson passed away Monday forenoon at the Marshall County Memorial Hospital in Britton.
