Woodburn, 65, died at the Davis county hospital in Bloomfield at 6:50 a.m. today. She had been seriously ill for a week. She was born March 20, 1889, at Giltner, Neb., the daughter of Edwin and Rose Dudgeon Case, and lived in that community until she moved to Van Buren county in 1926. She had lived in the Batavia community since 1933. She was married December 22, 1915, to Hugh Woodburn. She was a member of the Baptist church at Trumbull, Neb. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Rosie Dailey of Batavia, Mrs. Ivas Schmitter of Libertyville, Mrs. Agnes Steele of Lockridge, Miss Margaret Woodburn of Seattle and Mrs. Mabel Leedom of Des Moines; two two sons, Robert Woodburn of Fairfield and Sterling Woodburn of Batavia; two sisters, Mrs. O.L. Dangler of Trumbull, Neb., and Mrs. Mabel Marvel of Seattle; and 13 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two grandsons. The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Campbell funeral chapel in Batavia with the Rev. Levin B. Olson of Des Moines in charge. Burial will be in Batavia cemetery.
