The former Ivy Morehead, was born March 17, 1897, at Adaville, daughter of Wilbur and Ellen Fletcher Morehead. She was a lifelong Plymouth County resident. On Aug. 19, 1943, she married LeRoy Jennings at Adaville. He died Jan. 9, 1973. Mrs. Jennings was a member of the First Baptist Church in LeMars; Ruth Circle and Baptist Women's Fellowship. She was a member of World War I auxiliary and LeMars Sunshine Club. Survivors are a sister, Gertrude Brown, of Merrill; a brother Lloyd Morehead of Akron; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and Vernon and four sisters, Nell Raber, Vera Wright, Marie Hinzman and Phoebe Patrick. -------------------------
