Description	:	Izola Ann Wishmeyer, daughter of Virgil and Sara Ellen Wilmot was born in Wayne County near Humeston, Iowa, February 7, 1885 and departed this life March 23, 1954 at the age of 69 years, 1 month and 17 days. Early in life she was converted and united with the Unity Baptist Church. Early in life she was converted and united with the Unity Baptist Church. On October 28, 1908 [in Humeston, Iowa] she was united in marriage to Joseph [L.] Wishmeyer and started housekeeping in the Unity neighborhood and lived in the Unity community until death, having spent 46 years of happy life together, 32 of which was in the present farm home. Two children came to bless this union: Cecil Wishmeyer of Humeston, Iowa and Mrs. Dorothy Rickert, who preceded her mother in death April 19, 1952. Izola leaves her husband Joseph, one son Cecil and his wife Leona, four grandchildren, Willard and his wife, Bonnie; Willis Mary Ann and Joan, and Dorothy's husband, Floyd Rickert, of Los Angeles, Calif. She also leaves 3 sisters, Mrs. Martha Carter, Mrs. Bertha Abel of Humeston and Mrs. Addie Ellis of LeRoy, Iowa; 3 brothers, Will and Alva Wilmot of Humeston, Iowa and Dwight Wilmot of Corydon, Iowa. Also many nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Edward F. and Otie V. Izola was a member of the Eastern Star Lodge, a faithful and loving wife, a kind and helpful neighbor. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 25th [1954] at the Unity Baptist church by the Rev. P. H. Blunt. Pallbearers were Keiffer Garton, Dick Coffey, Pearl Greenlee, James Smith, Raymond Garton and Dean Rickert. Music was furnished by Helen Richard, Imogene Kinnear and Mrs. Walter Hickman. Flowers were in charge of Grace Garton, Helen Smith and Coy Garton.
