Description	:	Jack Berry McCoy, 75, of Lakeview was called home to be with the Lord Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2004. Mr. McCoy was born July 28, 1928, at Des Moines, Iowa, to Gilbert and Mable Berry McCoy. He married Kathleen Zimmerman Feb. 11, 1950, at Knoxville, Iowa. Mr. McCoy moved to Lakeview in June 1994 after retiring as a pressman with Meredith/Burda Corp. for 43 years. He served two years in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. Read More	Jack Berry McCoy, 75, of Lakeview was called home to be with the Lord Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2004. Mr. McCoy was born July 28, 1928, at Des Moines, Iowa, to Gilbert and Mable Berry McCoy. He married Kathleen Zimmerman Feb. 11, 1950, at Knoxville, Iowa. Mr. McCoy moved to Lakeview in June 1994 after retiring as a pressman with Meredith/Burda Corp. for 43 years. He served two years in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. Mr. McCoy was an active member of East Side Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon, loved evangelism outreach and was active in the remodeling of Mountain Home Christian Clinic. Mr. McCoy is survived by his wife, Katie; daughters, Sheila Tounsley of Des Moines and Denise (Stephen) Wirick of Tillamook, Ore.; son, Gary (Leanne) McCoy of Elgin, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marjorie Anderson of Omaha, Neb., and Dixie (Dan) Thompson of Ocoee, Fla.; a brother, Robert (Nancy) McCoy of Harrison; and a host of relatives and friends. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home. A funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Park Avenue Christian Church in Des Moines with visitation from 9 a.m. until service time. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Des Moines. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain Home Christian Clinic and Hospice of the Ozarks.
