Description	:	Funeral services for Mrs. Don Philpot, age 39 which were held Sunday Afternoon, at the congregation church were attended by a huge number of relatives, and friends who crowded the church to capacity. the front and the sides of the church were mashed with flowers attenting the popularity of the young woman who was fatally injured in an automobile accident. In his funeral oration, the Rev. John Pryor said that Mrs. Philpot loved to live and that she liked to have many young people about her. Mrs. Francis Baldwin of Omaha, sand "Under his Wings", on "O House of Many mansions, accompianed by Mrs. Katherine Ellis. Mrs. Philpot died a week after the accident from a broked neck. Mrs. Philpot, was Olga Evelyn Elgaard, before her marriage was born Jan. 9, 1907 on a farm 4 miles west of WEeping Water, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Elgaard, She attended the Laurel Hill and Sunny Hill rural schools and in 1924 was graduated from teh WEeping WAter, School. For three years afterwards she worked in the Olive Confectionary. On 12 April 1927, she was married to Don Philpot, and after living in town for 3 years, the couple moved to a farm returning to Weeping Water three years ago to make their home. Mrs. Philpot is survived by her husband Donald, and 3 children. A member of the congregational church, and of a birthday club and diner club at Nehawka. Her mother died May 21, 1931
