He was born March 5, 1952, in Kenmare, to Edward and Eunice (Sjoquist) Zeltinger. He was raised in Tolley and graduated from Tolley High School in 1970. Read More	Jack Zeltinger March 5, 1952 - April 16, 2018 KENMARE - Jack Zeltinger, 66, Tolley, died Monday, April 16, 2018, peacefully in his home. He was born March 5, 1952, in Kenmare, to Edward and Eunice (Sjoquist) Zeltinger. He was raised in Tolley and graduated from Tolley High School in 1970. He attended Minot State College, studying geology, for a time. Jack worked as a bush cutter for the Soo Line Railroad for a number of years, and later on oil rigs for various oil companies. He began employment as a road grader operator for Renville County in September of 1994. He retired April 4, 2016. He currently served as Mayor of Tolley, an office he’s held since 2006. Jack was an avid scrap iron hauler for 40 years. He loved cleaning up old farmsteads and was an antique collector, enjoying flea markets. He was passionate about beautifying the town of Tolley; he mowed several lots, trimmed trees and gave various items a fresh coat of paint to keep things looking nice. He was very proud of “Rachel’s Walk,” a little park in the town of Tolley that he planted and named for his daughter. Jack was most recently and lovingly known as “Papa Jack” to his three grandchildren and numerous other children who adored him. His heart was most full when spending time with his family. Family: daughter, Rachel (Cody) Edwards, Tolley; grandchildren, Trey, Gracelynn and Paige Edwards; brothers, Jerry, Bert and Mark Zeltinger, all of Tolley. Jack was preceded in death by: infant brothers, Roger and Anthony; and his parents. Celebration of Life: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 28, 2018, at ReNew United Methodist Church, Kenmare.
