Read More	Jackie William Yutesler age 79, of Logan, Iowa passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Longview Nursing Home in Missouri Valley, Iowa. Jackie William Yutesler was born on January 17, 1942 to Orval and Agnes (Teager) Yutesler in Logan, IA. Jack grew up in Logan, but due to his father's military service the family moved often during his early childhood. He said his favorite place to live was California. Jack loved spending time with all the kids in the neighborhood, riding his bike, and going to school dances. He was always surrounded by his family. Especially his loving mother, Grandma and Grandpa Teager, Aunt B, and his cousins Butch and Beverly, who he referred to as his brother and sister. Jackie was always known for being a hard worker. For over 20 years Jack was the dishwasher for Happy Chef in Missouri Valley, IA. After his time at Happy Chef Jackie became a part of the Crossroads family where he worked and lived for many years. During his time with Crossroads Jack took part in Buddy Baseball, Special Olympics (where he won a multitude of medals), Aktion Club, and was the President of the Consumer Coalition. He loved going places, meeting new people, and seeing old friends. Jack rarely met a stranger, but if he did they were not a stranger for long. Jack was a member of the Logan Christian Church and later the Grace Community Fellowship Church in Missouri Valley. Many of us remember Jack sitting by Highway 30 in Missouri Valley on a nice day waving at everyone as they drove past. Jack also loved to travel. Some of his most memorable trips were a Caribbean Cruise to the Bahamas, Las Vegas, Disney World, and Indiana to visit his family. Every Christmas Jack loved to dress up as Santa Clause and spread cheer wherever he went. Jack loved rodeos, concerts, and dancing. He was the best friend you could ever have, to know Jack was to always have a friend. Jack enjoyed watching westerns, especially John Wayne movies. He loved to listen to Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash. He also liked to cheer for various sports teams, the teams he cheered for usually depended upon which hat he was wearing that day. Jack loved his devoted staff at Crossroads of Western Iowa and Longview Nursing Home. He leaves behind a beautiful legacy of spreading love, joy and happiness to all. Jackie was preceded in death by his father and beloved mother, his grandparents, Aunt B and her children Butch and Beverly, along with various cousins and family. Jamie and Mat Gross and their children and the Haworth family who Jackie shared his Holidays with. As well as many friends and family.
