Description	:	Born Johann Wilhelm Jacobus Füser, in Hegensdorf, Westphalia, Prussia (present day Germany), to Hermann and Margaretha (Schaefers) Füser. Jake came to America and lived in Madison County, Illinois, where he married and began his family. He and his wife Mary had five children there (one dying in infancy) before moving to Tipton, KS. At Tipton, Jake and Mary stayed with his brother William Fueser, and had seven more children. After a few years they moved to Buffalo Township near Concordia. FIRST SERIOUS ILLNESS CAUSED DEATH OF JACOB FESER Jacob Feser, who resides about six miles west of Concordia in Buffalo Township, died quite suddenly last night in this city of acute inflammation of the bowels. He had been ill but a day or two and came to town yesterday after medicine and became too sick to return home, dying at the home of Mr. Johns, where his daughter, Miss Anna Feser, makes her home. This was the first serious illness in all his life. The widow, five sons and five daughters, two of the latter married, survive him. Mr. Feser was a farmer by occupation, was 61 years of age, had resided in the county for many years, and was a man of excellent character. He was a member of the Catholic Church and the funeral will be held from the Cathedral here on Monday morning at ten o'clock with interment at the Catholic cemetery.
