Burial was at Zion II Lutheran Cemetery NE of Ashley, ND. He was born July 26, 1926 at the family farm NE of Ashley, ND. He died on November 22, 2005 at his sons home in Bismarck, ND He attended country school in the Beresina District and completed his elementary education. He was united in marriage to Leona Reuther, daughter of Jacob and Emma (Bendewald) Reuther on November 25, 1951. The couple would have celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary this year. And to this union one son, Terry, was born on June 16, 1961. J.F. farmed his entire life until retiring in 1989 when they moved into Ashley where they still resided. He was a past member and officer of Zion II Lutheran Church at rural Fredonia, ND. He enjoyed fishing and spending time visiting and playing games with his beloved grandchildren. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Leona of Ashley, ND. His son, Terry (Jodi) Weszner of Bismarck, ND. His grand children, Nathan and Kaitlyn at home. His half sister, Frances (Marvin) Hoffman of Ashley, ND. His sister-in-law, Shirley Weszner of Ashley, ND. Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. J.F. was preceded in death by his parents, his stepmother, Mathilda, his half brother Kenneth and three grandchildren.
