Description	:	Jacob G. Schroeder, 95, Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Gackle, N.D., died Tuesday, July 28, 2009, at his home. Mr. Schroeder was born March 16, 1914, at Gackle. After farming many years in North Dakota, he moved to California. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy after the attack on Pearl Harbor and served the duration of World War II. He returned to California after the war. He married Mary in 1961. They moved to Fort Collins, Colo. He worked at Woodward Govenor until his retirement. He then worked for the Ft. Collins Museum.
