| Description | : | Jake lived at the county farm for about 20 years. He had family trouble and his family left him. When Jakes father Joseph came to Eden Township in 1859 he purchased five eighty acre pieces of land. One parcel for each of his children. To his death Jake owned the eighty acres of land his papa bought for him. His sister Clara Blink Goodman was his guardian.
