Description	:	Son of Arthur Joel & Odie Rampey Young; husband of Christine Boggs Young. He was born near Liberty and had spent most of his life in the county, and had made his home in the Fairview community of Easley since 1945. He was associated with the weaving department of the Easley mill, where he had worked since 1932, retiring in 1959 due to his poor health. He was a member of Corinth #1 Baptist Church. Funeral services: Tuesday, March 13, 1962, Robinson Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. Forrest Davis and Rev. Joe Trotter. Burial: West View Cemetery, Liberty. Pallbearers: Donnie Young, Joe Young, Newton Henderson, Jr., Billy Boggs, Bobby Boggs, and Hendricks Childress. As was still the custom of the day, his remains were returned to the family home for visitation until the time of the funeral.
