The body was accompanied as escort by Sergeant Shellenburg of the 30th. Inf. stationed at Camp Pike. Arthur was the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Hobson at one time residents of Edna, but how of Bartlett. It was in 1914 while living in Edna that Arthur met and was married to Miss Elsie McKee. In 1915, twins - two fine little girls were born to this union, who were left behind when the father entered the service. A brief funeral service was held at the Lake creek cemetery, taps were sounded and a squad of the American Legaion Post fired a salute as the casket was lowered in the grave.
