He is survived by a son, Donald Thompson and wife Sharon of Chesnee and daughter, Sybil Henderson and husband, John of Chesnee and by a brother, Alton Thompson of Boiling Springs. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Jay Thompson and wife Lori; Vickie Webb and husband Tommy; Sonja Watson and husband Travis and Preston Glenn, and a step-grandson, Chester Henderson, also survived by great grandchildren, Tristen Thompson and Gracie Thompson; Daniel Webb; Chloe Watson and Chase Watson. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, August 26, 2013 at Arrowwood Baptist Church, officiated by the Rev. Daniel Godfrey. Burial will follow in Springhill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday, August 26, 2013 from 2:00 until 3:00 at Arrowwood Baptist Church. The family will be at their respective homes.
