Description	:	CHESNEE, SC Mrs. Rachel M. Thompson Henderson, 92, of Chesnee, passed away May 24, 2011. A native of Spartanburg County, she was the widow of Osier Lee Henderson and the daughter of the late Claude Buford and Carrie Hines Thompson. She was a member of Arrowwood Baptist Church. She enjoyed attending the Golden Arrows and quilting. She is survived by three sons, Heyward Henderson of Chesnee, Ligon Henderson of Boiling Springs, and Michael Henderson of Spartanburg; two daughters, Carolyn Yelton of Rutherfordton, NC, and Barbara Klepper of Chesnee; two brothers, James Thompson of Chesnee and Alton Thompson of Boiling Springs; thirteen grandchildren;... Mrs. Henderson was preceded in death by one son, Charles Henderson; one daughter, Judy Cobb; four brothers, Claude Thompson, Jr., Charles Thompson, Venton Thompson, and Claude Thompson; and three sisters, Grace Cooley, Evelyn Brannon and Kathleen Bryant. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 26, 2011, from 2:00 until 3:00 pm at Arrowwood Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm with the Rev. Eric Yelton, the Rev. Eddie Cooper and the Rev. Daniel Godfrey officiating. Interment will follow in Springhill Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
