Description	:	Accident Is Fatal to J. Stacken James C. Stacken, 37 year old farmer, was killed Saturday in an unusual accident in Plainview. He was unloading grain and the truck hoist gave way while he was underneath it, crushing him between the box and frame of the truck. His father, J. C. Stacken, died in an identical accident July 2, 1970. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 30 at Zion Lutheran church with the Rev. Paul Banitt officiating. Stacken was born Sept. 28, 1934 at Creighton to J.C. and Bessie Stacken and lived all his life in the community. All but five years were spent on the family farm east of town. He attended the old Fairview school. On April 9, 1953 he was united in marriage to Fern Christensen at Zion Lutheran Church. Four children were born to them, all still living at home. Survivors include his wife; children, Dwain, Joy, Daryl and Daren; mother and three sisters. He was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in 1959.
