He was preceded in death by two infant sons his parents, Leroy and Laura Perkins one brother, Allen Perkins and one sister, Mary Strother . Survivors include his wife, Elaine Perkins of Glenmora four sons, James A. Perkins of Elizabeth, George A. Perkins Sr. and Clyde Rodney Perkins, both of Glenmora and Efton Perkins of DeRidder eight daughters, Rita G. Hagan, Judy G. Perkins, Patsy A. Thompson, Anita Ganson, Debra Johnson, Patricia A. Hodges and Janet Andrus, all of Glenmora and Sharon Danner of Dry Prong one sister, Delia West of Glenmora and 43 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Kurry Carraway, Barry Hebert, Waylon Stanley, Blaze Carmouche, Zeth Thompson and Mark Poe.
