If you want less than a jug of milk or some homogenized milk you can get it too from the distribution center. I was very well pleased to learn of this practical and profitable way to market milk. I had the pleasure of having Mr. Patton in my Vo-Ag school at Hillsboro for four years. He was a good listener and a hard worker. While he was in high school he met Maxine Mercer, who is now an active member of the business, and the mother and grandmother of a fine family. He was born in Highland County July 13, 1905, the son of John Patton and Jessie Crispin Patton. He is survived by his wife, Maxine Mercer, three sons, James M. Chillicothe, John L., Toledo and Jerry L., Akron; two daughters, Rosemary Roush, Hillsboro, and Mrs. Kay Cooksey, Orlando, Fla.; one sister, Pauline Faust, Hillsboro, Rt. 5, and 11 grandchildren. Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Hope Miller Funeral Home with the Rev. Rex Humbard officiating. Burial will be in Hillsboro Cemetery on Monday at the families convenience.
