Born April 30, 1937 in Franklin County, Indiana he was the son of the late James W. & Ethel M. (Roberts) Bishop. He had worked at the former D & M in Connersville, Indiana for many years. In his leisure time he enjoyed gardening and working in his yard, as well as country & bluegrass music. Born April 30, 1937 in Franklin County, Indiana he was the son of the late James W. & Ethel M. (Roberts) Bishop. He had worked at the former D & M in Connersville, Indiana for many years. In his leisure time he enjoyed gardening and working in his yard, as well as country & bluegrass music. Survivors include two children, Darrell Scott (Denise) Bishop of Brookville, Indiana and Kimberly Levi of Versailles, Indiana; a sister Betty (Herb) Murray of Brookville, Indiana; three grandchildren, Chassity Robison of Nashville, Tennessee, Cheyenne Mantooth of Dunkirk, Indiana and Cory James Bishop of Brookville; one great-grandchild, Addyson Mantooth. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Imogene Marcum; and four brothers, Willam Bishop, Sam Bishop, Glen Bishop, and Jerry Bishop. Family & friends may visit from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. on Monday, October 8, 2018 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Ave., Brookville. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, October 8, 2018 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville. Memorial contributions may be directed to a charity of the donors choice.
