Description	:	James Dennis Martin, 91, of Floyd, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 7, 1997. He was the son of the late William and Lillie Martin of Check. He was a member of the Red Oak Grove Church of the Brethren. Surviving is his wife of 67 years, Erma Graham Martin; two nieces, Irene J. Sisson of Warrenton and Naomi W. Creed of Locust Grove; a nephew, Harlie L. Martin of Check; devoted friends, Donald McLane and Priscilla M. Whitlock of Floyd; several other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be... He was a member of the Red Oak Grove Church of the Brethren. Surviving is his wife of 67 years, Erma Graham Martin; two nieces, Irene J. Sisson of Warrenton and Naomi W. Creed of Locust Grove; a nephew, Harlie L. Martin of Check; devoted friends, Donald McLane and Priscilla M. Whitlock of Floyd; several other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Red Oak Grove Church of the Brethren with Rev. Elbert Lee Naff, Rev. Larry Meadow, and Rev. Leon Alley officiating. Burial will follow in the Red Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Maberry Funeral Home.
