Description	:	From the East Palestine Daily Leader: James E. Davis was born in East Palestine Dec.23, 1928,a son of the late Clyde J. and Virginia Everett Davis and live all his life in this area. He attended the local schools and for several years was a driver at the Rukenbrod Market. He later became a kiln hand at the Royal China Corp. plant here and about a year ago went to the National Rubber Machinery Co. in Columbiana. He also worked pat-time at the Neil Ford Agency. Davis was born in East Palestine Dec.23, 1928,a son of the late Clyde J. and Virginia Everett Davis and live all his life in this area. He attended the local schools and for several years was a driver at the Rukenbrod Market. He later became a kiln hand at the Royal China Corp. plant here and about a year ago went to the National Rubber Machinery Co. in Columbiana. He also worked pat-time at the Neil Ford Agency. Mr. Davis was a member of the Centenary United Methodist church. Besides his wife, the former JoAnn Ruscoe, whom he married Feb. 25, 1959 he leaves two sons, James C. and John G. and two daughters, Kimberly Ann and Pamela Jean, at home. There are two sisters, Mrs. Jack (Ruth) Haggerty of Midland, Pa., Mrs. Howard (Jane) Hill of this city and seven brothers, William M, Robert C. Paul K. Clifford D. and George E. all of this city and Donald L. of Smiths Ferry and his twin John A. of Columbiana. The Rev. Wallace Aker and the Rev. Thomas Hammerton, former pastor of the local church will conduct services at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Van Dyke funeral home, where frieds may call Friday from 2 to 4 and to 9 p.m. Burial will be made in Glenview cemetery. Mr. Davis died from a automobile accident at aged 40.
