The little fellow had been taken hastily to Lincoln Thursday on No. 6 where an operation was performed Friday morning, but it was in vain. He died Friday evening about 5 o'clock and the body was brought back Saturday morning. The funeral was held Monday afternoon at two o'clock from the family residence on Blaine Street. While he was only five years old he was an exceptionally manly little fellow. He was very bright and attractive and gave splendid promise for the future. He had a kindly and friendly disposition and was a favorite of all who knew him. He is mourned by his parents, two sisters, Leona and Mae, two brothers LaMonte and George and many other relatives. The services were conducted by Rev. J. M. Douglass. Mrs. Glen Engstrom sang two beautiful and appropriate solos. The services were large-attended.
