Description	:	James Harold Obman was born on June 3, 1938 to Harold and Lillian (Rose) Obman. After his mother died when he was very young his father married Edna Geyer and she took Jim into her heart and raised him as her own. Jim graduated from high school in 1957 then served in the United States Army. On March 17, 1963, Jim married Mary Teague at Peace Lutheran Church in Wall Lake. Read More	James Harold Obman was born on June 3, 1938 to Harold and Lillian (Rose) Obman. After his mother died when he was very young his father married Edna Geyer and she took Jim into her heart and raised him as her own. Jim graduated from high school in 1957 then served in the United States Army. On March 17, 1963, Jim married Mary Teague at Peace Lutheran Church in Wall Lake. Jim worked as a farmer after his discharge from the Army, and then he worked at a telephone company, at Howard Center in Sac City, at New Hope, Farner Bocken and at WalMart all in Carroll throughout the next several years. He enjoyed his woodworking and spending time with his family and friends. Jim is survived by his wife Mary of Auburn, son Paul Obman of Auburn, daughter Sherry Oppen of Minnesota, three grandchildren, brother Eugene “Butch” (Joan) Obman of Breda, sisters Charlotte (Jim) King of Carroll, Irene (Bob) Corbin, Darlene (Randy) Vonnahme and Gloria Obman all of Wall Lake, and mother-in-law Margaret Teague of Auburn. He was preceded in death by his parents, twin sister Joyce in infancy, brothers Ricky and Edward in infancy, and father-in-law Russell Teague.
