He is survived by four daughters, S. L. Ewell, and Mrs. R. C. Moore, of Gloucester county, Va., Mrs. R. V. Thompson, and Mrs. P. S. Smith, of Mathews, two sons, Otis and Walter Kemp, also of this county, two brothers, George and Willam Kemp, of this county. Smith, of Mathews, two sons, Otis and Walter Kemp, also of this county, two brothers, George and Willam Kemp, of this county. Mr. Kemp was a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church, and was also a member of Omaha Tribe, Improved Order of Red Men, at North, Va. he was a good citizen and had many friends. Funeral services were held at Locust Grove M. E. Church Saturday at 3 p.m. conducted by his pastor, Rev. Paul Deibert. Interment was made in The Church Cemetery (Locust Grove) with burial services by the Red Men.
