Description	:	James John Moore, son of James O. Moore and Mary L. Moore, was born September 26, 1889. He passed away at Brodstone Memorial Hospital in Superior, Nebraska on September 2, 1966 at the age of 76 years, 11 months and seven days. He was married to Verle Dudley on February 10, 1910. Four children were born to this happy union, three sons and one daughter. Mr. and Mrs. Moore celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary February 16, 1960, with their family and many friends. He passed away at Brodstone Memorial Hospital in Superior, Nebraska on September 2, 1966 at the age of 76 years, 11 months and seven days. He was married to Verle Dudley on February 10, 1910. Four children were born to this happy union, three sons and one daughter. Mr. and Mrs. Moore celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary February 16, 1960, with their family and many friends. Mr. Moore was happy on the farm where he was born, and lived there until 1952 when he moved to Oak. Jim spent several years farming even after moving to town, and continued to go there daily after retiring. He was preceded in death by his parents in 1939 and 1940, and also by a brother, Harry Moore, in November, 1955. Those left to mourn his death are his wife, Verle, three sons, Wendell of Sacramento, Calif., Mark of Deshler and John of Marietta, Ga.; and one daughter, Sylvia (Mrs. Martin Neuhart) of Deshler; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; two sisters, Myrtle Moore and Eugenia Moore of Oak; one brother, Roy C. Moore of Santa Ana, Calif.; three daughters-in-law, Alta, Lavae and Naomi; one son-in-law, Martin Neuhart; also many nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted at the First Community Church Monday, September 5, 1966 at 2 o'clock in Oak, with the Rev. Russell Wayland officiating. Casket bearers were Robert Samsula, James Buresh, Lavon Schoof, Harry Snyder, Otis Kershner, and Leonard Scroggin. The Urbauer Funeral Home of Davenport was in charge and interment was in Nelson Cemetery, Nelson, Nebraska. The Nelson Gazette, September 15, 1966; pg. 2
