Surviving are six sons: Jim (Susan), Elida, Tom, Bob, Tim and Ron, all Lima, and Bill, Bradenton, FL; a daughter, Linda (Mark) Warren, Delaware; eight grandchildren: Jeff, Tiffany, Chantea, Rebecca, Betty, William, Sara, and Logan; seven great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Joe (Randa) and Creed. Surviving are six sons: Jim (Susan), Elida, Tom, Bob, Tim and Ron, all Lima, and Bill, Bradenton, FL; a daughter, Linda (Mark) Warren, Delaware; eight grandchildren: Jeff, Tiffany, Chantea, Rebecca, Betty, William, Sara, and Logan; seven great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Joe (Randa) and Creed. For the past 40 years he lived in Syracuse, NY, where he was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying salmon fishing with his beloved black lab Susie. He also loved to work in his vegetable gardens. He enjoyed watching birds, feeding them and the squirrels. He had worked as a general contractor and high risk painter. He loved to share the stories of the places he traveled and the things he had painted over the years. He was a diehard Ohio State University Buckeye fan and loved the Cincinnati Reds and the Cleveland Indians. He will be remembered as an animal lover, who was always working for others. Services will be at Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services, Shawnee Chapel.
