Description	:	Injuries suffered when crashed between two automobiles early Tuesday morning claimed the life of James Patrick Clabby, 18, son of Mr. and Mrs. James P. Clabby of 413 Pine Street. He died in St. Ann Hospital yesterday morning without fully regaining consciousness. The youth was born in Anaconda on May 23, 1923, and attended St. Paul parochial grade school. He died in St. Ann Hospital yesterday morning without fully regaining consciousness. The youth was born in Anaconda on May 23, 1923, and attended St. Paul parochial grade school. He graduated from Anaconda Catholic Central High School last spring. During his high school career he was prominent both as a football and baseball player earning letters athletic activities. While in grade school he won the annual scholarship award presented by the American Legion to the outstanding eight grade pupil of the public and parochial schools. He was a member of the American Legion baseball teams which won district championship honors in 1938 and 1939. He also was popular as a member of the Sullivan-Frank Texaco bowling team. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, St. Paul school Catholic Youth organization, the Monogram club of Anaconda Catholic Central high school and the Anaconda bowling association. Since his graduation from high school he had been employed on Anaconda Reduction works. He was a member of the Anaconda Mill and Smeltermen's union. Surviving relatives besides his parents include a brother-in-law and four sisters, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Browning, Helen, Peggy and Patricia Clabby; a grandmother, Mrs. Margaret Monahan, all of Anaconda. And the following uncles and aunts, James Monahan, Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Monahan, Neil Monahan, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Monahan and Mr. and Mrs. Fred McCarvel, all of Anaconda: Mr. and Mrs. C.J. Austin of Missoula, and Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Freyler and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Murray of Butte. The body was taken to the P.J. Finnegan Funeral Home, where it will lie in state until the hour of the funeral Saturday morning. The funeral cortege will form at the chapel at 8:45 o'clock and will proceed to St. Paul church, where a solemn requiem high mass will be celebrated at 9 o'clock Saturday morning. Interment will be in the family plot in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
