Read More	James R. Shively - Posted December 16, 1999 Chelan James R. Shively, 95, a 73-year resident of Chelan, was carried by angels home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, Dec. 14, 1999. He was born Jan. 4, 1904 at Central City, NE, the son of Willis and Jenny (Wallace) Shively. As a toddler, he moved with his family to Mansfield. Following the death of his mother, he and his father moved to California, moving to Chelan in 1926. On Jan. 4, 1929, he was married to Clara Barton of Lakeside at Wenatchee. They resided at Lakeside and he was employed with Chelan Box & Mfg. during the summer and with Beebe Orchard Co. during the winter. From 1947 until his retirement in 1978, he was employed with Lake Chelan Fruit Growers now known as Trout, Inc. Clara died on June 30, 1983 and he was then married to Ruth Ella Lund at Chelan. She also preceded him in death. Survivors include two sons, Dick and his wife Sue, of Moses Lake; Bart and his wife, Charlene of Chelan; six grandchildren: Rick (Theresa) Shively of Kennewick; Ron Shively of Phoenix, AZ; Kimberly Shively of Moses Lake; Butch Shively of North Bend, OR; Cherii Dalton (and her husband Mike) of Kent; Gary (Kristin) Shively, of Chelan; six great-grandchildren: Trevor and Austin Shively; Jason Shively; Jarod and Jylie Dalton; Krissa Gavin; two stepsons: Charles (Louise) Lund and family of Spokane; Terry (Bobbie) Lund and family of Redmond; and many friends. Services will be conducted Friday, Dec. 17, 1999 at 11 a.m. from the Little Stone Church with the Rev. Gordon Hyde officiating. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Little Stone Church--Building Fund or the Missionary Fund. Services are under the director of Precht Rose Chapel.
