Born November 17, 1915, in Upper Cornwall, he was the last surviving member of the family of the late Sidney and Margaret (Demone) Joudrey. Born November 17, 1915, in Upper Cornwall, he was the last surviving member of the family of the late Sidney and Margaret (Demone) Joudrey. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 57 years, Lillian (Fancey); daughter, Sylvia Nauss (Reginald), Upper Northfield; sons, Reid (Judy), Mahone Bay; Sidney (Merna), Middle Cornwall; granddaughters, Nicole Young (Peter), Upper Northfield; Amanda Joudrey, Mahone Bay; Kayla Joudrey, Middle Cornwall. Ray also enjoyed his dogs, Guinness, Zod, Oscar, Chilli and Alexis. He was predeceased by sisters, Daisy Joudrey in infancy, Elsie Wile; brother, Stuart Joudrey. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today in Mahone Funeral Home, 32 Parish St., Mahone Bay, where funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Rev. Robert Zinck officiating, assisted by Rev. Joan Conrad. Burial will be in the New Cornwall Memorial Gardens, New Cornwall. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Lung Association of Nova Scotia, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, Cornwall and District Fire Department or a charity of your choice. The family would like to thank their many friends for the incredible support they have shown and give thanks to the nurses and doctors (especially Dr. John Jenkins and Dr. Heather Robertson) of Fishermen's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg.
