FALL FATAL AFTER 2O YEARS Honcut Resident Dies From Injuries Received in Eighties, Special to the Union. MARYSVILLE (Yuba Co.). Sept. 29. James Sivils of Honcut died last night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Fred Groh, near this city. Over twenty years ago, while riding at night, his horse stumbled and fell on him. He did not pay much attention to the matter at the time, but many years after he thought that he was troubled with rheumatism in his hip. A few years later the fact of the accident of several years previous became known, and it was soon decided that his suffering was the result of the falling at that time. Mr. Sivils spent nearly all his life near Honcut, in Butte county, and was well known to all the old residents of northern Yuba and southern Butte. He was about 51 years of age. His wife died nearly twenty-five years ago. He leaves a mother, Mrs. Lucy S. Sivils of Honcut; a daughter, Mrs. F. W. Groh of Marysville, and Mrs. W. W. Womack of Palermo; two sisters, Mrs. Haling of Honcut and Mrs. Weakly of Fresno; and two brothers, Jeff Sivils of Sacramento and Lee Sivils of Honcut. Contributor: Steve Harrison
