He stayed with his parents on the farm and then for several years worked for his brother, Frank here in town. About four years ago he went to Odell Nebraska where he went to farming. He visited relatives here at Christmas time and seem ed in the best of health. On Monday, March 26 the neighbors in Odell noticed that they had not seen him all day and when he did not put in appearance on Tuesday they went to his home and found him dead. When the doctor was called, he pronounced his death caused from hemorrhage of the heart. The people in the community where he lived wished him to be buried there, but It had to be refused, as his mother who preceded him in death several years ago and other relatives are buried here. So. to show that they loved and respected their neighbor and friend they had regular funeral services before he was taken away. His body was brought here early Sunday morning accompanied by his two brothers and one sister. Funeral services were held from the home of his brother, Frank, on Monday, April 2, at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Anton Paulu conducted the funeral, and Mesdames Anton Paulu, Paul Kouba, S. Postolka and the Misses Ella and Augusta Paulu and Mary Hladky furnished the singing. Six girls were flower girls, namely the Misses Julia Nekola, Mary Hladky, Julia Cibula, Josie Jonas. Frances Kovarik and Ella Paulu. Six young men were the pallbearers Charles and George Nekola. Emil Sevcik, Albert Cibula, Lew Kovarik and Charles Kotovsky. Burial in Bohemian National cemetery. Mr. Lundak leaves his father in Wyoming, two brothers, Frank of Vining and Joe in Colorado, and one sister who lives at Odell, Nebraska. He belonged to the Modern Woodmen.
