Description	:	Theodore was born in Woodville, Prince George's County, Maryland (now Aquasco) He appears in records as James and Theodore (to distinguish him from other James Demars in the area). He served in Beall's 17th Regiment, Captain Naylor's Company, 1812-1814. He died before the 1840 census. It is believed that he was the son of William Demar. Thomas, the original Demar family immigrant, arrived in Maryland in the 1600s. His final accounts were dated 1696.
