Beauchamp In sad but loving remembrance of my dear father, James W. Beauchamp, who departed this life to-day one year ago, April 4th. He was in the 58th year of his age, but he was in the usual state of his health. We arose at his usual early hour that morning and after going to the granary and feeding he returned to the house, then calling wife from her sweet slumber he held a few fords of conversation while his voice seemed like one from heaven as he spoke of the beautiful day that had just dawned; then leaving his room as he did perfectly happy, he started to plant his beda and a few minutes later he was found asleep by the little path he had often trod. He was a devoted husband, kind and loving father, a true friend and neighbor, and has left behind a true wife, nine fond children and a large host of relatives and friends to mourn his loss. He did not only believe in Christianity but his plain, quiet and pure Christianity from early life up to the last was beautiful to see. He loved his church and Sunday school and was present in his class wearing the same happy smile up to the last Sunday of his life. He was generous and wholehearted and his loved ones, friends and community will not only miss him once but always, and papa if our years be many and as dreary and sad as this long, long one has been we will welcome the angel that comes to bear us away with the ones we are longing to see, for to-dya that deep aching creeps into our hearts the same as did that sad day you went out but never returned. Oh, how sad we feel when we from time to time pass the little the little evergreen tree. We wish it could whisper and tell us of our it all happened and if you had any parting words to drift away the sweet mellow air unheard by these anxious loved ones. Papa spring time will not be as it used to, for now it brings an aching void within our hearts that will never grow dim. Your vacant place can never be filled; never again will you come to meet us at the old home where you have shown us many happy hours, but papa we know you are safe in the arms of Jesus and know you are waiting to make us happy again in your beautiful home over there.
