Mr. Starling was a native of Fargo, Ga. and had resided in Baldwin and Macclenny, before moving to Jacksonville, forty-two years ago. He was employed as a truck driver with a Central Truck Lines, Jacksonville for twenty-five years until his retirement in 1978. He was a Navy veteran of WWII and a member of the Christian Fellowship Temple of MacClenny. Mr. Starling was a native of Fargo, Ga. and had resided in Baldwin and Macclenny, before moving to Jacksonville, forty-two years ago. He was employed as a truck driver with a Central Truck Lines, Jacksonville for twenty-five years until his retirement in 1978. He was a Navy veteran of WWII and a member of the Christian Fellowship Temple of MacClenny. Survivors include three daughters, Carolyn E Starling and Eunice Starling, both of Jacksonville, and Susan Parrish of Glen St Mary. Two sons, Dwain of Jacksonville and Charles Starling of Macclenny, one sister, Elzie Raulerson of Olympia, Washington: Thirteen grandchildren and twenty seven great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 P.M. Monday (today) Jan 5 in the Christian Fellowship Temple, Macclenny, Fla with Rev David Thomas, Pastor, officiating and assisted by Rev Leslie Thomas. Interment will be in Manntown Cemetery, South of Glen St. Mary, Fla. Guerry Funeral Home, Macclenny, Fla is in charge of arrangements.
