Description	:	Jim graduated from St. Edward High School with the Class of 1957. In July, he enlisted in the US Navy with service in San Diego, Norman, and Memphis. He was honorably discharged in 1959. Jim and Connie Kay Jasa married 7 October 1961 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Genoa, Nebraska. They raised three children, Jamie, Nitha and Heidi. After farming, trucking, and working 23 years in the tool & die department at Lindsay Mfg., Jim retired to Burwell in 2002. James was also a Fire and Rescue Volunteer and E.M.T. for the... He is survived by his 3 children: Jamie Thomazin and wife Gwen of Slayton, MN; Nitha Beeck and husband James of Lincoln; Heidi Osantowski and husband Joe of St. Edward, NE; ten grandchildren: six step-grandchildren: brother and sister-in-law Pat and Candy Thomazin; sister: Joan Steinmann, a host of Thomazin and Cahill relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother: Nick Thomazin; brother-in-law: Frank Steinmann; and parents-in-law: Frank and Mayme Jasa. Jim is both my husband's first cousin through the Thomazins and his third cousin through the Cahills
