Description	:	Jan attended Corrigan Elementary, Indian Hill Jr. High and Byran High School, graduating in 1972 as Valedictorian. Attending a National Science Foundation summer programs in Moscow, ID, set him on his course to study Physics and Fluid Dynamics, where rigorous course work and finding creative solutions to scientific problems formed him as a scientist. Post college, he worked in electronics thunderstorm research with Dr. Ralph Markson of Airborne Research Associate. He loved to tell stories of those adventures and of the lifelong friends he made. After many years in the Boston area, Jan come home to Omaha to be near his family. He earned a securities license and worked with Primerica before retiring due to health concerns. He loved rock music, hiking ice climbing and winter camping with friends. He loved wine, especially his Cabernet Sauvignon and appreciated beautiful woman. He served as president of the Omaha Czech Culture Club, was a proud of his Czech heritage, spoke the language and enjoyed visiting extended family and hiking in the Czech Republic, He enjoyed workouts, family trips to Colorado, walking at area lakes, gun shows, auto shows, westerns, WWII movies and Offutt Air Shows.
