It lists William Johnson, 53, born May 23, 1847; Jane A, 46, born March 1, 1854; George, 18, born July 27, 1883; Dolly, 16, born March 6, 1885; Nelly, 14, born May 11, 1886; Bessie 13, May 15, 1887; and Florence, 12, born December 25, 1888. The family is of the Baptist faith. Jane and William had eleven children together. At the time of her death, five of them had died. "She became a Christain about 15 years ago. She was a kind and loving wife and mother and loved by all who kenw her. She was a great sufferer, but bore it patiently until God sailed her to a better land. Funeral services were conducted at the home by Rev. WG Hamilton, pastor of the UE church at Elba. Interment at Cedar Rapids, Nebraska.
