On Monday, Mrs. Jane Fulton, of Five Houses, Portaupique, was found dead in her room. She has been a widow for many years, and has been always healthy and bright, and despite her advanced age, surpassing the four-score mark, she has moved about the place as sprightly as one 20 years her junior. She was the mother of a large family, the following survivors mourning the loss of a faithful parent: Albert and George of California; Daniel of Bath, Maine; Oscar and Woodbury, at home; James A., of this place; and Mrs. George Gass, also a resident of this town. The funeral is being conducted this afternoon. Just as preparations were about complete for consigning dust to dust for the remains of the late Mrs. Jane Fulton, the announcement was made that another of the old school was found dead in her bed this morning. Mrs. Margaret, relict of the late Abner Fulton, had been in most perfect health almost all her life. Yesterday, bearing her age exceedingly well for an octogenarian, she was calling on her neighbors around the town, and on her return home remarked how much better she felt than before going out. She retired in good spirits, and this morning was a corpse. The funeral will take place on Friday at 2 o'clock. This lade too raised a large family, all of whom have made their marks. Those who mourn the demise of their good mother are: Sommerville, Manager of the Union Furniture and Merchandise Company Limited, of this town; Pryor, Proprietor of the New England Coal Company of Waltham, Mass.; Mrs. A.A. Archibald, Truro; and Mrs. Hayes and Mrs. Crowe, of Boston, Mass.
