Description	:	FUNERL SERVICES HELD FOR JANE E. MARSH Funeral services for Jane E. Marsh were held at the Advent Christian Church in Villisca, Monday, January 27, 1969, at 2 p.m. Rev. Alston B. Hall was clergyman. Mrs. Marsh died early Saturday morning in an Omaha Hospital following open heart surgery on Thursday. Mrs. Frances Gray presented the musical selections, “Bralen’s Lullaby” and “The Lord’s Prayer.” Flower bearers were Mrs. Ann Wheeler, Mrs. Elsie Stalligs, and Mrs. Albert Baker. Jane Elizabeth Marsh, daughter of Grover and Maggie Tuttle Coles, was born July 16, 1914 at Chariton, Iowa and passed awayJanuary 25, 1969 in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 54 years, 6 months, and 9 days. She lived in Chariton in early life and attend Chariton High School. She moved to Villisca in 1930 where she continued her education in the Villisca High School. She was united in marriage to Tim Marsh on January 15, 1931 and to this union was born one daughter, Beverly June Marsh, who passed away on February 6, 1944, at the age of 11 years. Jane was active inn community affairs during her lifetime and had been in various business activities with her husband. She belonged to the American Legion Auxillary Unit No 251 and to the order of the Eastern Star of Iowa, Chapter No 80. She was preceded in death by her daughter and by her father. She is survived by her husband and mother, by one brother, Bosewell Coles of Oak Lawn, Illinois and by three sisters, Pauline Offerman of Des Moines, Iowa and Katherine Sillo of Illinois, and Betty Brooks of La Grange, Illinois.
